LOVIN' LIFE... Grain Free

GRAIN FREE RECIPES

Sneak-peak Spinach WrapsA sneak peak at what to expect in my new book! Thinking I might post some whoopie pies for the 4th of July, so here's an idea to keep you cool until then.
Jammin’ JamThis is a copy-cat of some of the yummy jam recipes in my soon-to-be-released book, "The Ultimate Grain-Free Cookbook". I used frozen cherries and dried figs for this jam because I was gifted a large bag of dried figs and I had cherries in my freezer, so a gal's just gotta do what a gal's gotta do, right?!
Sour Cream BiscuitsHey, no Real Bread Baking Mix on hand? I've got you covered! Here's a sneak peak at a recipe from my new book "The Ultimate Grain-Free Cookbook". This is a quick, easy recipe and these biscuits are super light and fluffy, just what springtime mornings call for:)
Red Velvet CupcakesShow everyone how much you love them when you make these Blender Cupcakes using some of Mother Nature's best whole foods! This recipe is modified from my Sweet Secrets Cupcake book to use your blender instead of the food processor.
Pastita or ‘Spoodle’ CasserolePastita is basically a baked spaghetti casserole. I call this my Spoodle casserole, because I often use sweet potatoes for the spaghetti noodles. If you don’t have a spiralizer yet, bake up a spaghetti squash for about an hour in your oven, discard the seeds, scrape out the fleshy “noodles,” and use them in place of the sweet potatoes. You must add a spiralizer to your kitchen tools! A blender, food processor, and spiralizer is all you need. Oh, and a good knife is helpful, too.
Delicious Raw ApplesauceNo need to cook apples to death when we have kitchen gadgets that do our work for us. Love this because it's so quick, easy, healthy and delicious! Perfect all year 'round.
Easy Sugar-free FudgeI love this easy fudge because just a few ingredients and my blender will take me to fudge heaven!
Mom’s Cranberry SaladI always make a ton of cranberry sauce for the holidays because it's so easy, takes minutes to make and it keeps well. There’s just no reason to buy canned. BUT, when I’m a lazy gal, opening a can works for this salad. The raw (enzyme rich) ingredients in this salad make it delightfully refreshing and even better the next day for breakfast.
Easy Blender Sweet Potato PieSoooo, if you'd like to avoid cracks on the top of this delicious pie, do as I say and not as I did! Just follow my instructions below and stop baking it while the center is still slightly jiggly! Even though this one baked a bit too long, it still tasted amazing. Using just nutmeg and honey really makes this a stand out from traditional pumpkin pie. I love the flavor of this pie and hope you will too.
